Summary/Objective:


As a Regional Sales Manager, you will get to work with some of the country's largest power providers; equipping them with the tools and equipment necessary to ensure they can maintain ready and reliable power. Focused on building brand awareness and cultivating relationships into partnerships you will be responsible for sales growth and business development. We are poised for growth and looking for someone who is as well.


Responsibilities:


  • As a go-to-market lead for Test Equipment, you will perform activities associated with building reach and awareness strategies and the planning of go-to-market efforts aligned to Exponential Power's direction
  • In addition to working in existing sales channels, you will get to help with the identification, qualification, development and sales into new test equipment channels as well.
  • Outbound sales; contacting new leads and nurturing existing leads and customers
  • Demonstrate products and assist prospective customers to select those that best suit their needs
  • Collaborate as a sales and marketing team member to develop and implement marketing plans for designated products in accordance with strategy and direction
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers
  • Prepare price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, etc., and prepare orders subject to the approval of the company
  • Assist in the investigation and follow up of product claims and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Exponential Power's full test equipment product offering
  • Keep the company informed on competitive products, and promotional matter, sales techniques, pricing and market policies
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on activities, sales volume, etc.
  • Participate in the preparation of sales forecasts

Job Requirements, Skills, and Abilities


  • Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years of previous, relevant sales, marketing or project management experience preferred
  • Experience in building and growing relationships
  • This position will require overnight travel
  • Experience working with an ERP/CRM database for communication manager required, NetSuite preferred
  • Demonstrable expertise in formal sales techniques; prospecting, cold calling, overcoming objections, up-selling and cross-selling, and closing
